Unusual settlements of the earth
And the criss-crossed lines becoming straightened.
Falling flakes of wire fences
Have nothing to do with anything.
They're part of nothing, much like most things.
Like dry, cob-webbed rooms
The worlds crash together and even weirder things take form.
Statues of rust displayed world-wide in motels.
Rough, splitted wood being sanded smooth,
While a cursing human picks out their latest splinter.
