I really fell into this book. I worried over Kathryn's plight and whether or not she would escape the cluches of her uncle. I wondered at Lucien's actions at the beginning. Would he be a decent, honorable man? Could he be the hero we hope Kathryn deserves? This is a fast, enjoyable read!
