Meredyth got her first taste of performing in 6th grade when she was in a short play that the high school seniors wrote for her class. She had a small role but loved being on stage and that's when the doors to the theatre world were opened for her. Since then, Meredyth has been a part of many musicals and Shakespearean plays including You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Fiddler on the Roof, Once Upon A Mattress, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest, Grease and Oklahoma. Meredyth has also trained at Shakespeare & Company as a part of their summer acting programs and also at Stagedoor Manor in the Catskills and Camp Broadway in NYC. Meredyth currently attends private vocal training with Ridley Chauvin, trains in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe at her dance studio and is a part of her high school's chorus. When she isn't busy performing or training, Meredyth loves spending time in her favorite city, New York and spending time with friends. She would like to thank her supportive parents, her wonderful family, her fabulous friends and role models for everything they've done for her. Above all, she thanks God for giving her the power to make her dreams come true.
  Fun Facts About Meredyth
Favorite Broadway show: "I have a lot of favorites. Les Miserables is a show that will always be special to me because it's what started my huge love of musical theatre and singing especially."
Favorite Broadway Performer: "There are so many wonderful performers out there. First and foremost is Diana Kaarina. She has inspired me so much and has been a great friend to me. I really don't think I'd be doing all I am today if it wasn't for her. I honestly believe I would be a v. different person if I had never met her."
First Broadway show: "I grew up in London and my parents always took me to see shows in the West End. I think the first one I saw there was the revival of Annie on my 10th birthday. But the first show I saw in New York on Broadway was Les Miz."
Best advice you've been given by a performer: "Lots of people have told me that a really important thing when breaking into this business is to know who you are and always be yourself, no matter what happens. I think that's not only vital for this business, but also for life in general."
Dream role: "Like every musical theatre girl, I'd love to be Eponine in Les Miz. But Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz has been a dream of mine since I was four years old and made my mom buy me my own red shoes. I love to tap so being in a production like 42nd Street would be great for me!"
Favorite aspect of performing: " I love how I feel when I'm onstage. There's no other feeling like it in the world. The exhilaration, excitement, nerves, fear, happiness all rolled into one. I just love to make people happy through theatre. I want people to see the real beauty of theatre. I want them to leave the theatre feeling like they've learned something about life or themselves... theatre is a magical thing and I want to help people realize how special it really is."
