The Screen Savers in St. Louis
Being a nerd, well that's second to being a metal head, brings some fun.  On May 18th, 2002, the fine people at TechTV sent us Leo Laporte and Patrick Norton, oh and producer Paul Block.  They showed up for what was only supposed to be 2 hrs of signing autographs, but ended up staying until 3:30, thankfully we got to meet them, enjoy the pics.
Please be patient for pics to load, they were shot with a high res. camera.
Ok, bout Noon here at CompUSA in Ballwin, MO (where I used to call home) as you can see the line is long.  This kid here blew my mind, he was if not smarter than me, and he was only like 8.  I wanted to take him home and put him to work, but the folks said no.
Bout 1PM now, and Chris and I were eager to meet the guys so Chris snuck by some people and snapped this one.  Leo on the left answering questions and Patrick reading and signing. Steak 'n Shake is good food when your drunk.
Once again from the 1PM hour, getting very anxious and wondering if we would make it up there.  Chris behind the velvet rope as people pose with the guys.
Bout 2PM now and things are looking better, we're closer and they're staying for everyone.  Pat and Leo with Producer Paul Block (2nd row, on Left) w/ the Charter Cable crew that was there.  About 20 min later the tent came down.
Another shot of everyone that helped make this possible.
Finally! Bout 3PM we make it up there. Here's Chris having Leo sign his Computer case. The autographs read "It's Not Chris' Fault!" and "Blame Us!"
My turn, ok so it's the side of my head, woop-dee!  Chris with Gizmo and Patrick trying to talk to him. I'm joking with Leo about having him sign a blank CD-R, he told me the weirdiest thing he signed was a pair of breast implants.  Very nice guys. Thanks a lot.
