| So today's music scene is about as worse as it was before Chuck Berry struted on stage with his guitar. There's one word that comes to mind when describes todays music, what is it...umm...oh yeah 'shit'. With all the Nu-Metal sweeping angst ridden youth, we've lost the sense of good music. I mean you people seem to forget that without bands like Anthrax and Faith No More, to name a few, we wouldn't have this god awful noise they call music. Back when you were all pooping your Pampers there was a legendary band named Anthrax who decided to team up with Public Enemy, they teamed up to do Bring The Noise, probably the first real rap, rock combo, that sold out arenas night after night. Now Anthrax is still kickin ass across the country these days while Public Enemy has faded into oblivion. Now once the doors were opened the need to be kicked down, and Faith No More was just the band to do it. Their opus song 'Epic' knocked the world on its ass. This song combined both melodic metal with rhymes. Without these two bands there wouldn't be no Rage or Limp or KoRn. These bands owe their friggin' lives to these gods of Thrash Metal. Ok enough on the Nu-Metal, on to Pop. Once again we find that 'Shit' describes the genre. With all your Brittany wannbe's and your 'NSYNC crap it's enough to make you puke. Enough of this shit already people, we don't like it. Rap on the other hand, well some of it shit but I'll give mad props to the founding fathers of it, other than that, blah. WORD! What have we learned today, Heavy Metal will always be bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Motorhead, Iced Earth, Arch Enemy, etc.... not this Nu-Metal shit, in fact why is it called nu-metal there's no solos anywhere in their songs.
