Molded grating has historically been a hand lay-up composite of resin and continuous glass fiber strand that is thoroughly wetted out and woven through an open mold.
This method leads to a resinous composite which imparts good strength characteristics and high levels of corrosion resistance. The general advantages of molded grating are:
