Other Characters
Squawky
This parrot is Holly's Guardian, like
Luna and Artemis, but a bird. Squawky found Sailor Gaea and gave
her the Planet Transformation stick, allowing her to transform.
It was partly his idea that she disguise herself as Sailor G.
Squawky hates Sailor Uranus, and attacks her quite often, though
not as often as Slither does. Squawky, unlike Luna, Artemis, and
Slither, has the power of flight which he uses to the utmost of
his abilities. Squawky is not especially picky, and eats about
anything, other than meat. He can mimic human voices, and can
use Sailor Gaea's attacks.
Europa
In the Silver Millennium, Europa was
the pet of Princess Jupiter, a.k.a. Princess Lita. Europa is a
Jupiterian Darksnake, a seven-eyed serpentine creature native
to Jupiter. She will strike at anything that she considers a threat
to her mistress, even the other Sailor Scouts. Both Europa and
Io plotted to destroy Ken as part of Slither's Phase III. She
was disguised as a rattlesnake by Queen Serenity when she was
sent to the future. Europa eats meat, and her prefferred prey
are rodents. Her attack is Rattlesnake Thunderstrike. this attack
calls down a bolt of lightning, which takes the shape of a snake,
and hits the opponent.
Iyse
Iyse is an Archaeopteryx, the ancestor
of modern birds. The royal family of Pluto gave this little creature
to the King of Mercury as a gift. He, in turn, gave it to his
daughter, Princess Amy. Iyse is a special Archaeopteryx, in that
his feathers are mostly light blue, with the Celestial Symbol
of Mercury emblazoned upon his chest in darker blue feathers.
He protects Amy zealously, and she found out that her house is
the center of Iyse's territory. Iyse is carnivorous, and has a
special liking for fish and small reptiles. He was turned into
a falcon by Queen Serenity. Iyse's signature attack is Screaming
Blaster, a burst of icy fire that burns and freezes at the same
time.
Io
Io is a Jupiterian Eagle, a species
of bird native to Jupiter. Lita's apartment is the nucleus of
his territory. He can speak telepathically. He is green, with
patches of darker green plumage and two plumes on his head. Io
regards both Nick and Lita as his owners, and generally only talks
to them. Nick and Lita have tried to convince the others that
Io can talk, but no one believes them. Io played a large part
in establishing Nick and Lita's relationship in the Silver Millenium,
acting as messager and giving them advice. Because of this, Io
considered it necessary to go along with Slither's Phase III plan.
Io, too, is a carnivore. He was disguised as a golden eagle, though
such birds are not native to Japan. Io's attack is Thunder Eagle
Blast, an eagle-shaped blast of electricity.
Ares
Ares is a Martian bird that was disguised
as a turkey vulture. He makes his home at Cherry Hill Temple with
Raye. He, Phobos, and Deimos form a small gang and they wisecrack
in avian language. Ares protects Raye with a vengenace, and the
Temple is in his territory. He hates cats, and drives any cats
other than Luna or Artemis away. He is carnivorous, and though
he generally is fed meat by Raye, he often goes hunting throughout
Tokyo for food. Ares' attack is Wing Blade, a fireball in the
shape of a bird.
Aphrodite
This little Venusian Psittacoid is
the pet of Sailor Venus. Its species, native to the planet Venus,
is very outgoing and affectionate, and it is said that it can
cause people to fall in love. That is the reason Princess Mina
chose this creature as her pet, even though it's love-creating
potential is only a myth. She, like her mistress Mina, takes great
pride in her appearance. Aphrodite was turned into a dove by Serenity.
She commonly hangs out with Squawky, and shares Squawky's indiscriminating
palate. Her attack is Wings of Love, Razor Feathers, in which
she fires energy feathers at the enemy.
Charon
Charon is a Compsognathus, a small,
chicken-sized dinosaur. Charon belongs to Sailor Pluto, but formed
an attachment to Sailor Neptune as well. Charon is agile, curious,
and very fast. He possesses venom glands in his jaws, which makes
his bite dangerous. Charon's favorite perch is inside the back
of Michelle's shirt, where Amara cannot hit him. Charon dislikes
Amara, and the feeling is mutual. But Michelle likes Charon, and
he takes full advantage of that fact. Charon was a common visitor
to the Moon Kingdom, though no one knew where Princess Trista
got him from. Charon has a special fondness for eggs. Charon was
disguised as a rooster to go to the future. Charon uses the Blast
From the Past attack, which is similar to Dinozore's Sauros Beam.
Cirrus
Cirrus is a Dimorphodon, a small species
of pterodactyl. He is the pet of Amara Tenou, or Sailor Uranus.
Cirrus is one of the few animals that tolerates Sailor Uranus,
though he loves teasing her. Cirrus and Charon take it into their
own claws (or wings) to keep Uranus and Neptune from getting too
close, though this does not please Amara one little bit. Cirrus
can and will eat almost anything, including Serena's cooking!
Turned into a toucan by Queen Serenity, he was one of the last
of them to regain his true form. He can mimic the human voice,
and is often used as a messenger by Amara. This ability to mimic
also gains Cirrus the use of Sailor Uranus's World Shaking attack
by mimicing his mistress's voice precisely.
Poseidon
The planet Neptune was covered with
water during the Silver Millennium, and hence, had many aquatic
creatures. Seabirds are numerous on Neptune. The most easily tamed
species of seabird is one of the smaller ones. Princess Michelle
tamed one and named it Poseidon. Poseidon is extremely fond of
fish, but he has Cirrus' undiscriminating palate. He will even
eat Serena's cooking! He was transformed into a seagull and his
attack is Seabird Splash.
Hades
Hades is a Dimetrodon, a mammal-like
reptile of the Permian Era. Hades is not especially smart, but
he is devoted to Princess Trista. He has a literal one-track mind,
and when he gets into an attacking mode, he is a force to be reckoned
with. Hades has great weight to throw around, as well as razor-sharp
fangs. No one knows how Sailor Pluto got him. He can eat anything
edible, including rotting meat (he is a scavenger, though there
isn't much to scavenge in Tokyo) He was turned into a crocodile
by Queen Serenity. His attack is Ground Pounder, which is kind
of hard to describe.
Diablo
Diablo is a Saturnian Devil Snake,
a winged, black, evil-looking snake that lives on the planet Saturn.
Diablo is the pet of Princess Hotaru, a.k.a. Sailor Saturn. Diablo
can fly. He is terrifying to look upon, and strikes fear into
the hearts of everyone who looks at him for the first time, except
Sailor Saturn. He was made into a cobra by Queen Serenity. His
venom is incredibly lethal, and he uses it to catch his prey (He
only uses minutely small doses of venom to hunt, like any Earth
snake). His favorite prey are other snakes, and rodents. Not even
Sailor Saturn knows if Diablo has an attack, because no one has
ever seen him use one.
Talon (Holly's pet)
Talon is a Lutino Cockatiel (No grey
pigment, just white, yellow, and orange), Holly Chiba's personal
pet. Her parents let her have him because she brought up the fact
that Nick had Slither. (Slither used his power of suggestion to
make them used to his presence. He used the same trick to make
them not question Squawky's presence)Talon was one of the carriers
of the two Sickle Crystals. Talon was also captured by Evil Prince
Endymion, causing Dinozore to fight him. Talon is very alert,
and often wakes Holly and Nick when there is trouble. He is very
vocal and noisy, much to the irritation of Holly's parents.
The Second Sentiences
The Second Sentiences are intelligent
animals that lived on the home planets of the Sailor Soldiers.
Dinozore's Second Sentience Powers are derived from them. the
Second Sentience of Mercury is the Mercurian Icebird. Dinozore
first used the weaker-than-average Second Sentience Power, 'Wings
of the Icebird', against the Daimon Hurdler. The Second Sentience
of Mars is the Martian Firebird. This is the only Second Sentience
Power used by someone else other than Dinozore, Sailor Mars in
this case. The Power is 'Firebird Strike', though Dinozore's is
much more powerful. The Second Sentience of Venus is the Venusian
Drakon, a massive dragon that breathes pink-and-yellow fire. This
fire is said to break love curses and cause people to fall in
love. Dinozore used the attack 'Drakon's Fire, Love Fire' to save
Sailor G from Eudial's fire. The Second Sentience of Jupiter is
the Jupiterian Thunderbird, which resembles a gigantic eagle.
The legend on Jupiter is that they cause the semi-frequent thunderstorms
there, and that they smite people they don't like with lightning
fired from their eyes. 'Thunderbird Air Strike' was the first
Second Sentience Power Dinozore used. The Daimon Kyouryuu, formed
from a toy Velociraptor, stole Nick's pure heart. The animals
came to its rescue, attacking whoever held it, except Lita. Slither
attacked and wounded Sailor Neptune. Uranus found out that Nick's
pure heart wasn't a Talisman, and returned it to him. He transformed,
and then Lita, transformed, attacked Kyouryuu. Then Kyouryuu slashed
Sailor Jupiter, and Dinozore got mad. He used 'Thunderbird Air
Strike' to destroy Kyouryuu. The Second Sentience of Neptune is
the Sea Dragon Leviathan. The attack, used by Dinozore when Neptune
was killed, is 'Wrath of the Sea Dragon'. Uranus's Second Sentience
is the Wind Dragon. Dinozore used the attack 'Wings of the Wind
Dragon' against Eudial's Fire Buster after Uranus died. Pluto's
Second Sentience is the Chronos Dragon, and Saturn's is the Dark
Owl.
Amberite
Main villain of 'Thunderstruck'
Amberite was Beryl's fifth general,
actually her advisor, but she wasn't very loyal to Queen Beryl.
After Sailor Moon destroyed Malachite, Amberite deserted Beryl,
not wishing to lose her own life because of Beryl's foolishness.
She only escaped the fate that befell Neflite because Beryl was
too pre-occupied with the Sailor Scouts to bother with her at
that time. Later, Amberite tried to destroy the Sailor Scouts
by herself. She used her Dark Energy Contamination to turn Sailor
Moon, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Jupiter into Dark Scoutss. Dinozore,
Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Venus remained, however, and eventually
Dinozore healed the Dark Scouts and defeated Amberite, nearly
killing her. She has amber-colored hair, and amber eyes as well.
She can contaminate others with Dark Energy, and can form an Amber
Shield around herself. However, if her shield is destroyed, it
takes her ten minutes until she can form a new one. She uses her
own type of Youma, called "Negamon." She returned as
Queen of the Neo-Negaverse, and threatened the Sailor Scouts once
again. She had Malachite, Zoicite, Opal, Jedite, Ruby, and Pearl
as her generals, and Rubeus as an advisor. She constructed the
Anti Silver Crystal, and eventually killed all the Sailor Scouts
in the new D-Point, and Dinozore as well, with dark energy lightning.
Eventually, she was healed by Eternal Sailor Moon, and turned
good. She pledged her allegiance to Neo-King Jupiter, as did Opal,
Jedite, Ruby, and Pearl, who were also healed. Amberite had a
staff used for her Amber Lightning attack, and for finding targets
to drain energy from.
Opal
Opal was one of Amberite's associates,
both in the Silver Millenium and in the present-day Negaverse.
She deserted when Amberite did, and fled to North America to avoid
the Sailor Scouts. Eventually, Amberite found her, and got her
to join the Neo-Negaverse. Opal and the others helped to restore
D-Point, and Opal found her lover Jadeite, still imprisoned in
the crystal, and freed him. She and Jadeite were healed by Dinozore.
Opal's hair is green, as are her eyes. She is, as Ruby phrases
it, a "green sensory overload". She has a terrible temper
at times, which has led Holly to describe her as having "PMS
all year round". Opal only contained her temper because she
was constantly on Amberite's bad side, where any more disturbances
would result in instant destruction. Opal has a long, dangerous
whip as a weapon, which she uses for her Opal Lash and Opal Circuit
attacks.
Ruby
Ruby was Amberite's older sister. Though
older, she is not as authorative as Amberite, and had little rank
in the Negaverse. Ruby is determined to help her little sister.
She looks quite strange, with her red hair and eyes. She tends
to dress in red as well. She has very little patience for Pearl,
and the two are often arguing. Ruby is very fond of her little
sister, and fought as a general in the Neo-Negaverse so she could
help Amberite succeed. Ruby helped convince Amberite to allow
Eternal Sailor Moon to heal her. Ruby wields two swords, Scylla
and Charybdis.
Pearl
Pearl is the younger half-sister of
Amberite and Ruby. She is incredibly immature, and loves playing
tricks on people. Amberite is incredibly fond of Pearl, though
they often quarrel, and permits her to get away with almost anything,
much to the irritation of Opal, Jadeite, and Ruby. Ruby and Pearl
bicker constantly. Pearl sucks her thumb when she gets scared
or startled. She looks quite strange, with grayish hair and eyes,
and very pale skin. Her weapon isn't really a weapon; it's a rubber
ball that is much deadlier than it looks.
