The children of Sailor Mercury
Amanda Mizuno
Amanda and Katherine Mizuno are identical
twins. They are physically the same, but they try to act differently.
Amanda wears her blue hair down to her waist. She is very intelligent,
and loves playing chess. However, no one in Crystal Tokyo is a
match for her on the chess board, except for her twin sister and
her mother. Amanda does not want to be like Amy, which is one
of the reasons she wears her hair down to her waist. Everyone
seems to love giving Amanda nicknames. Aaron calls her Amako,
and most people call her Mandi. Amanda, like her mother, is not
one to admit when she is in love. She has a serious crush on Aaron
Chiba.(She doesn't know he has a crush on her, too.) She likes
to read, and to watch sunsets. She isn't very good at romance,
and her attempts usually fail humorously. She continues to try
though, and sooner or later, persistence might pay off. Amanda
has a pet Archaeopteryx, named Pteryx. Pteryx is a colorful example
of an Archaeo, and very proud of his plumage. Amanda often has
to put up with the overbearingness of Pteryx. Amanda keeps a picture
of Aaron with her at all times. Amanda and Katherine have something
of a psychic link, being identical twins and all. Amanda becomes
Sailor Aquaria, not the new Sailor Mercury. Her powers are derived
from the sea and its inhabitants.
Katherine Mizuno
Katherine Mizuno, the identical twin
of Amanda, is the one who becomes Sailor Chibi Mercury. Katherine,
unlike her sister, tries hard to become more like their mother.
She studies most of the time, and does not have much use for romance.
She keeps her hair short in a typical Mizuno hairstyle. Katherine
is very good at chess, and can equal Amanda on the chess board.
Katherine doesn't have a pet of her own, maybe because she does
not have time for such things. In fact, Iyse and Pteryx
annoy her. She thinks of them as distractions. Katherine is called
Ice by most of the others, due to the fact that her heart is cold
and seemingly she doesn't care about anything other than studying,
though she values her friends and her family above everything
else. She has a crush on Gavin Chiba as well, which she is loath
to acknowledge. Amanda calls her Katie.
As Sailor Chibi Mercury, Katherine gains a mini computer and VR
visor like her mother's. Katherine inherited Amy's intellect,
which often makes her friends jealous.
