She's very enthusiastic about becoming a Magic Knight, and will do anything to save Cephiro and Master Cleff. Although Hikaru is small for her age, she's a force to be reckoned with ^^ Hikaru goes to a normal school, that just happens to be going on a field trip to Tokyo Tower on the same day as Umi and Fuu's schools. Hikaru is having fun looking through a telescope when her time runs out and Fuu offers her some money to pay for more time. Hikaru tries to say thank you, but runs into a group of girls from Umi's school. After this Princess Emeraude comes and calls the three of them to Cephiro. Hikaru is the most excited about becoming a Magic Knight. She's the first to get magic from Master Cleff, and the first to use magic in battle as well. When the Knights are sent to get Escudo, Hikaru is forced to face an evil image of her beloved pet, Hikari. Hikaru overcomes this obsticle by realizes that the true Hikari would never hurt her, so she gets her piece of Escudo. Hikaru's Rune God is the last to be found. It's found in a volcano in the sky, and it's probably the most powerful of the three Rune Gods. Hikaru is really kewl, and she's usually the one to save the day after Umi and Fuu get beaten or captured. She's very friendly with everyone, but she knows who her enemies are too ^^ She's too short for her age (which actually causes some funny scenes ^^) Sometimes, she's a little too enthusiastic for her own good.
