About Mamoru:

Chiba Mamoru is a college student who is studying to become a geneticist. He is about 18 at the begining of the series, and relatively older at the end. His main interaction with the main character of the series early on, is just to tease her, but later on, he and Usagi become lovers, and become entwined in each other's life.

In addition to being a student, he is Tuxedo Kamen, Moonlight Knight, and Prince of the Earth, Endymion. He always comes to the rescue of the Sera Senshi, until SuperS, where he is directly attacked by the series' enemies, the Amazoness Quartet. Also, in R, he is taken control of by Beryl and Kunzite.

He is eventually married to Tsukino Usagi and is the future father of Chibiusagi.
