Praise Description: This is another work like "God's Child" in a sense that it objects to something. In this case that something being the control which religion has over the masses and which it has had for centuries. There have been many occasions throughout history where religion mainly christianity has been the source of much meaningless slaughter. One of these main events which spanned across hundreds of years was the burning of what were considered witches, in defence to this many Christians today say "It was a long time ago, it was ok then". Bullshit. Granted yes, it was a long time ago, and yes it was ok then, but the fact still remains that it happened, there is no denying that. Basically is you were 'out of the ordinary' (ordinary being defined as what the church saw fit) and there was something happening in the village (eg. crops not growing like they did the year before, illnesses, or just plain unrest) the 'good' towns people would get together to have a meating, which would ultimately define the fate of someone who they said was a witch. where exactly is the justice in that? "Your weird. Youre a witch. we're going to burn you" ????. that is just seriously fucked up. Witch burnings in the center of town would become a family outing "Hey kids, guess what?! we're going to see some helpless fool get tied to a steak and burned alive!", is it just me or does that seem rather odd? The phrase "Get on your knees like the whore you are, for the clean shalt fear me" may be offensive to alot of people, I don't care. don't come bitch to me. It simply is a show of domination. according to the bible, God is the creator and commander of all things (personally I don't believe in God. or any other "higher being" for that matter. I believe in me.). So therefore he can push around anything and everything he wants, but he wouldn't do that because he's so nice (ooops, I forgot. the witches). "...for the clean shalt fear me" - actually could be thought of as "the dirty", being the people that don't believe, and object to this control. In my view they are the clean. 'untouched' by the shit that is or has anything to do with God. They are the smart ones and will ultimately reign, and in todays world you need to think for yourself or you'll be left behind. If by now you don't know what "some of us are really born to die" means I guess i'll tell you. Jesus. born to die... a parents ultimate sacrifice, which was the ultimate waste. Fight for what you think is right. Don't let anyone push you around. Go out and enjoy life while you still can. I don't care about spelling errors. you can understand it.
