The following morning Raven awoke to the radio blaring rather than her alarm.  'It was only a dream,' breathed Raven as she got up for the second day of school.
"Reports from the Lincoln Police Department have been released to us," blared one of the disk jockey.
"About what?"  Raven asked the radio confused while she ran as brush through her hair.
As if he was answering her he continued, "About yesterday's attack on Lincoln High.  Witnesses have testified a minataur with red horns came rampaging in yesterday injuring three in the process.  Don't worry, Folks, it was nothing serious.  It seems that a sailor similar to Japan's own is protecting us.  Whoever you are, thanks.  Wow, can you believe that?"
Screams of pure terror came from Raven's throat.
"What the hell is the matter you psycho," yelled Raven's ten year old brother Brian.
"IT WASN'T A DREAM!"
"What wasn't a dream?"  A puzzled Chase asked coming in.
"THE MONSTER ATTACK!"
"Mom, she's freaking out again."
It took awhile, but eventually the Tylors were able to calm her down.
"Is she alright, Bonnie," Walter asked his wife after Raven left.
"I'm sure she is, Walter-dear, you know how she feels about the Japan thing.  Maybe, she's still a little on edge about yesterday.  She'll be fine."
Walter nodded in agreement and went back to his paper.
Raven stepped out into the world.  What she really wanted to do was go back to her room and pretend that it still was a dream.  She couldn't though; Bonnie and her father had already locked her out.
Because of her outburst Chase had left early, so Raven started the walk to school.  Instinctively grabbed her Chinese Zodiac Tiger symbol instead she found a sword shaped charm in it's place pulsing.
The second scream of the day emitted from Raven.  Her screams became unison with that of the school's that she was now in front of.
Knowing nothing else to do, Raven ran into a nearby alley and transformed into Sailor Maliky and pushed past the panicked crowd, sword in hand.
Finding large beast that looked like a huge 7-foot man with bat features running around shoving kids around apparently looking for something or someone.  At the sight of the sailor suited girl the thing became hysterical making shrieking noises and ramming past anything that got into its way making it's way to her at a remarkable and terrifying pace.
Sailor Maliky's eyes went wide with fear as she covered her face and head with her arms.  As if that was enough to protect from the now furious demon.
The expected impact never came.  Confused, Sailor Maliky reluctantly lowered her arms to see the hawk from yesterday distracting the shrieking beast by circling overhead.
  "Stun it already," it shouted.
Sailor Maliky nodded stupidly having great difficulty remembering the words.  A flash came over her mind, "LIGHTNING STRIKE!" and the beast was on his knees.
The hawk circled and landed on her shuddering shoulder.  "Finish it."
Sailor Maliky didn't hesitate this time as she swiftly picked up her previously discarded sword and plunged it into the monster.  It roared in anguish as it burst into flame.
The few stragglers left quickly took their exit in fear.
Sailor Maliky's arm stayed in its position until the flames died down and there was nothing left but a gold pile of dust.
Bringing the sword to her face she examined it and it started to glow.  Dropping it in fear Sailor Maliky vanished leaving Raven jumping up and down and pinching her-self, "Wake up, Raven, wake up."
A flash of light and the sword was nothing more than a charm.  Picking it up she began to laugh hysterically waving it around by the formed chain holding it.

Crowbar in hand, Kris hesitantly peeked out of the janitors' closet.  Hearing familiar laughter she flew out and sped around the corner to find Raven waving around a tiny necklace as if it were a toy.
"See this," when Raven finally took notice of Kris and had run up and shoved the thing in her face.  "See it?  ThiswasaswordaswordItellyouitglowedandandIturnedintoasailorsenshijustlikeininJapanandIhitthethingwith
lightingandthischickcameoutandstartedthreataningme-"
"RAVEN!"
Raven breathed in deeply sobering a bit, "It really was a sword, Kris, just like Uranus's only black... with lightning jewel things on it!"
"Raven, did you hit your head?  That's what this is, how much sugar have you had today?"  Kris felt Raven's forehead.
"NONE," Raven screeched.
"Alright," Kris said putting on her best psychiatrist face, "I say no more Japanese stuff for you for a while, because it's going to your head, Rave."  She took the necklace out of Raven's grasp and put it on her.  "Most of the teachers left already.  I'd ask you over, but it looks like you need some rest, girl," Kris started to walk off.
Raven stood there about to protest, but instead ran to catch up.

After her arrival home Raven stood outside the door sighing to her-self.  "Maybe Kris's right.  Maybe I am nuts," Raven though out loud.
"You're not," a voice said behind her.
Whirling around she found the silver haired teenager who seemed more trouble than he was worth.  "Dante!  Where the hell did you come from?"  She hissed loudly.
"Name's Zeus, I was sent by Princess Blissful Serenity, the true Queen of the Future Moon Kingdom, to make sure your powers awakened when Felicity's evil did, and to guide you against evil.  Ravana, I know you're in there somewhere.  It's me, we trained together and-" He fell short eyeing the charm sized sword around her neck pulse in agreement.  "See The Blade can recognize you any where.  Ravana please remember," he pleaded with the confused girl.
"Why am I letting you talk?  Oh, that's right, I'm a freaking lunatic," Raven's voice rising with every syllable.
Zeus calmly smiled, "Take my hand, Ravana, please?"
Raven looked long and hard in Zeus's eyes and grasped his hand.

Flashes of a girl with black, purple, and white hair knee length hair played in various forms.  She was seeing this girl's life from being taken by Felicity when she was born up until the battlefield where she died at the hands of Felicity herself in brief waves. A few times she was holding my sword or as she seemed to call it The Blade.  There was one of her in very rare moment obviously wearing a deep purple gown gazing at someone to Raven seemed intentionally blurred. She grew up with two motherly figures.  One Felicity, the other Felicity's twin, Bliss.  Finally just the final moment of tragedy where Felicity killed her with The Blade.

"If you don't believe me, do you believe that?"  The voice sounded far away as Raven returned to back to reality.
"You are Sailor Maliky, leader of the New Moons Senshi.  As of right now you are our only hope of survival."
Raven gazed at Zeus in wonderment, their eyes met and Raven felt she could believe any thing he said.  It was then her senses took over, snatching her hand out of Zeus's harm hold and she waited for her anger to wash over her, but it never came.  Only a sense of dread, loneliness, and relief came.
"So, I'm by myself until these other chicks decide they're gonna show up, huh?"  She groaned and slightly smiled at him as she unlocked the door and motioned for him to come in.
He returned her smile and walked in after Raven.
