Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  An alarm squeaked while the digital numbers flashed wildly as a hand reached out and clicked it off.
"Get up, Raven," a deep voice called from far away.
"I heard the alarm, Pop," mumbled Raven.
Getting up she clumsily made her way through the messy room toward the dresser.  Her world coming into focus with the found glasses she settled to fixing her frazzled hair.
"Morning, Sweetie," chirped a petite woman at the door handing Raven her clothes.
Else where a young man sits at a table sipping orange juice, listening to the clomping on the stairs.
"Hello, dearest sister of mine.  How are we this fine second day of school?"  The young man asked Raven as she entered the kitchen dressed for the day.
"Can it, Chase!"  She grumbled with annoyance to the older boy, "Why are you so cheerful weird step-brother-of-mine?"
"Venn, do I have to get up," an innocent voice inquired.
"Mickey," Raven kissed the freckled forehead of the 5 year old and nods, "yup."
"No touchy," Mickey smacked away his older sister.
"Chase, Raven, get.  It's 7:09 already," the teens exited the house, quickly making their way the three and a half blocks to school.
Raven fumbled for her lunch money wanting to make sure it was there couldn't find it and ran back the two blocks home not giving Chase a chance to tell her other wise.
After retrieving it she resumed her walk to school her mind began to wonder off.  A faint "ouch" brought her back to reality.  Turning around expecting a person found only a hawk.  It's left wing broken and his feathers an unusual silvery-gray color.  Glancing around Raven found no one but the strange hawk.
"Did you just--I could have sworn--," Raven stuttered than shrugged it off.
Hearing footsteps brought her another halt in her stride.  Turning around she saw a boy her age wearing all white with silver hair, his left arm broken.
"Hey, did you see that weird hawk, Dude?"
"Hawk, what hawk," the boy glanced around.
Time was ticking and she knew that he lied.
"Alright," she turned toward the school and turned back to find no one.  Trying not to freak out she sprinted the rest of the way.
Briskly moving to her locker dodging the crowd she slammed into someone taller than her.  Seeing the friendly gray eyes of Collin Vincent her temper sizzled to nothing.
"Hi, Collin," she smiled.
"Hi, Raven.  Where ya heading so fast?"  Collin returned the smile.
"Class.  Practicing to be the Human Cheetah which is your sister maybe."
Collin laughed and waved her off.
Heading into her first period class a girl faced Raven sitting atop a desk.
"Nicole, why are you sitting on my desk?"  Raven questioned, her temper returning.
"Why, Raven, then are you talking to Collin?"
"It's a free country," Raven narrowed her eyes.
"So it is," Nicole responded while another girl burst in.
Noticing Nicole on the desk she folds her arms across her tube-topped chest.  Her eyes were covered but her scowl showed her feelings well
"Hey, Kris," Raven greeted her best friend Kris Vincent.
"Hey, Rave," Kris smiled ignoring Nicole.
A third girl comes in fluffing bleached hair and smiled at Raven and Kris.  "Hey, guys."
"Hey, Michelle," the two replied in unison.
A bell sounds as students drift in and Nicole with a swish of her long, curly, red, hair got up and stalked to the other side of the room.
A woman hurriedly came into the room to teach Freshman English and immediately began to take role.
Michelle dragged her two friends to their seats as the final bell rang signaling the start of class.
Kris ran a hand through her dirty blonde-pink streaked hair and yawns.
Raven followed suit and rested her head on her already folded arms.
"How late did ya stay up, Rave?" Michelle laughed.
"Hush," Raven hissed annoyance.
"You and your weird Japanese obsession," Kris shook her head.
'Last time I read old news reports from Japan all night... Bah, I know more about the Dead Moon Circus Attacks and Sailor Moon than I thought I ever would... Thankfully this Friday is the Haruka and Michiru concert I've been dying to go see for months! Too bad Jade couldn't come, me and Kris will have tons of fun...' Raven thought falling asleep.
A boy with white clothing stood at the door smiles spotting a black head of hair.  Running his hands over some blank papers words began to print themselves across the pages.
"Ms... um... Kay," he hesitated reading the board, "I'm new here..."
"Oh, yes, just let me have your paper work.  Lets see," she gazed around the room landing on a seat behind Raven, "You can sit behind Raven.  Raven, raise your hand."
She raised her hand with out thinking or glancing up and returned to her state of solitude.  A touch upon her shoulder disturbed her rest forcing her to look up to see the boy from the walk to school.  His icy blue eyes bearing into Raven's own dark brown ones despite the glass barrier.
"Hi, my name's Dante Ghost, Raven," he quietly introduced.
Michelle prompts Raven to no avail; she introduced herself and Kris.
Barely acknowledging them he took his seat.  Raven settled to ignoring him, but his presence had unnerved her.
When the bell rang, Raven gratefully ran out to her next class with nothing but a bye to her friends.  A much taller African American boy stopped Dante from running after her.
"Is there some reason, Newbie, that you feel you can come march into our school with your preppy white clothes, chase after a really cool chick and expect to impress her?" he sneers down glaring at Dante.
Before he had the chance to respond, in the blink of an eye a familiar dark haired girl came into the bully's face with a fist and the attitude to back it up.
"First of all, Bradley, shut-up!  Second, I believe he may "march" where he wants.  Lastly do I look like a prep?" Bradley shook his head vigorously, "then neither is he, got it?"  You are so lucky you are my friend or I'd waste ya right here and now!"
Bradley shrugged hiding his fear, "What ever you say, Ray," he said while backing off.
"Thanks," Dante offered.
"What-ever, Ghost.  Brad couldn't hurt a fly if he wanted to."  Raven popped her knuckles.
Dante's face lit up and began dragging a protesting Raven to a nearby closet.
"You're the one I've been searching for!"  Dante shut the door firmly holding her with his grip.
"What the hell, let me go!"  Raven yelled in frustration
"Evil is coming and you must protect the world-" Dante was cut off by a scream just outside the door.  In that brief second of confusion Raven escaped the closet to see a huge black bull looking monster with red horns and poison dart guns strapped onto both wrists terrorizing students and faculty.
"Man, I've seen some pranks before, but THIS is no prank," concluded horrorstricken as she covered her mouth with her hands she noticed a pale purple glowing.  Screaming she rushed back in and slammed Dante against the wall, "Alright, Freak, what the hell am I?" She gestured a glowing hand in his face.
"No time, take this," he managed to hand her a large sword with a black handle.
Taking it from him it seemed to be familiar to her like a memory rather than de ja vu.  Shouting the first thing that came to mind, "Maliky-Moon-Light-Up."  Rays of black, white, and purple light engulfed her.  The light disappeared leaving the sailor-suited Sailor Maliky in place of the tomboyish Raven.
"Oh, this is so NOT happening, this has got to be dream," screamed Sailor Maliky to no one but herself.
Dante sighed.
'Of course this is a dream, I've had it before only I was Sailor Jupiter.  Even better is that Dante's cute even he is only a dream.'  Sailor Maliky thought as she breathed again.
"Alright this is going to be an awesome dream, Dante, sorry you don't really exist you're cute though.  I'll go along with this then wake up and go to school."  Sailor Maliky twirled the sword and ran out to find the hallway empty.  All that was left were a few random people unconscious and a locker toppled with books and papers everywhere.  Sheathing her sword Sailor Maliky rubbed the back of her head confused.
"Look-out," someone shrieked.
Ducking Sailor Maliky felt the wind of one of the monsters poison darts.
"Wow that was close, you little shit head, you won't get away with it.  LIGHTNING," clasping her hands together black and purple lightning formed around them, "STRIKE!" her hands flew apart and beams of lightning shot at the monster.  The monster fell to his knees stunned.  A seemingly to come out of nowhere girl sidestepped the weakened monster and faced Sailor Maliky.
"I knew I smelled a wannabe hero," she snarled her golden eyes matched her floor length hair and her golden form fitting gown, "oh, and it's Maliky too how lucky."
"Who the hell are you?"
"I am your worst nightmare," she growled, "I am known as Felicity, ruler of the future moon.  Prepare to die, Malikian Slave."
Sailor Maliky unsheathed her sword in fury, "Over my dead body!"
"That can be arranged," chuckled Felicity.
"That's enough, Felicity," a strong voice rang out.
Turning around Sailor Maliky found Dante glaring at the girl.
"Oh, how cute, it's Zeus protecting his little girlfriend the Malikian Slave.  Help me, save me," Felicity mocked horror.
"Felicity," the warning still in his voice.
'This isn't over Maliky.  Not by a long shot."   She faded away until only her eyes remained.  Then she blinked and she was gone.
Sailor Maliky fell to her knees.
"What's going on?"
