| "A True Treasure" describes my feeling when I met this person. In my mind, it was the only thing that I could think of. This poem illustrates the fact that I was still capable of caring for another during an odd and dark period of my life. (Lack of magnesium = depression, unable to sleep, etc.) It was during my English class that I really wrote this poem. I was wondering aimlessly and happened come upon thinking about this person. Eventually, I started writing some stuff that came into my mind. This poem later set the precedent of me composing various other poems. Although, I don't believe it was the first poem I wrote. |
