Greenbush Catholic Cemetery
Greenbush Twp, Mille Lacs Co, MN,
page 3
Edwin DeShaw's headstone is the earliest in the cemetery.   He was born in New York in 1868; he died in Greenbush Mar 9, 1872.  His parents were Alexander DeShaw & Eliza Ann Grow.  Eliza has a headstone, but Alexander (who died only 4 years earlier than Eliza) does not appear to have a headstone.
The folks listed below do not have headstones.  Records of burials in Greenbush have been found elsewhere:

DC: bur "Greenbush Cemetery".  Seems very odd that he wouldn't have a headstone here, as he was also the groundskeeper for the cemetery.

79.
Mrs Victoria Lafontise (w/ Louis Lafontisee, b<1816>)   died 12 Mar 1903 "past 80yrs" (b Mar 1816, CAN on 1900) "catholic cemetery in GB township". On the 1900 Mille Lacs, Foreston census she is Head, living near Moses LaFontisee and his wife Rose (d/Owen And Anna Bracken) but looks to be living with a John Ross, and his wife Effie.  John may be her grandson. Victoria's husband was Louis on the 1880, Sherburne, Blue Hill, with grandchild Clarence LOUIS (surname?). Louis was married to Rosalie Plamondon.  maybe Victoria is Louis' 2nd wife? They are living right next door to Moses LaFontisee & Rose Bracken. They are 2 doors down from Joseph Maggert & Margaret Blair.  Could Louis & Victoria be Moses' parents? She states on the 1900 that she has had only 1 child, and that child is living.  Supports the notion that she is a 2nd wife, as both Charles LOUIS & John ROSS appear to be Louis' grandsons.
