Do Not Weep for the Wicked

The fear consumes
But I never cry
Memories haunt
But my eyes are dry

The pain
(Unbearable)
The fear
(Unstoppable)
Doesn't deserve
A single tear

I will not cry
When the wicked hear
They don't deserve the honor
Nor the dishonor of my fear

I can lie
And say I'm fine
But they don't deserve my protection
Nor any thought divine

When the wicked listen for my cry
My whisper or my silence
They shall hear my laugh
My final act of defiance
