I Want You Again

I want you again
I remember
(Oh how remember was once such a sorrowful word)
I remember your hands on my body
Your lips on mine
It felt so perfect
You felt so perfect
A moment of light
In my eternal night
Light that continues to spread
From my heart to my head to my hands to my feet

I want you again
I remember
(Oh how remember was once such a spiteful word)
I remember your hands on my legs
And your lips on my neck
It felt so perfect
Life felt so perfect
A feeling that maybe, just maybe
The world is good again
The sadness continues to flow away
Away from my heart and my head and my hands and my feet

I want you again
I remember
(Oh how remember was once such a destructive word)
I remember your arms holding me close
Your lips kissing mine one last time
It felt so perfect
I felt so perfect
The happiness excites me
And makes me want you near
The happiness, dear, that fills me
My heart, my head, my hands, my feet

I want you again
