I’m unique because I have DNA and fingerprints that no one else has. I have a wicked stepmother, a wicked stepsister, and even a wicked step-nephew. I am one of the few people my age that actually gets along with their parents, and I collect Amy Brown’s fairy art almost obsessively. I also don’t limit myself to one genre of music like most people, instead I like almost anything and everything. I am a one of a kind Geek and proud of it.
Starting with the wicked step family, we’ll start with the stepmother. She makes me do my homework and clean my room and the bathroom and grounds me if I don‘t get my work done. Ok, so she’s a typical stepmother, but she’s my stepmother so I reserve the right to call her wicked when I feel like it. On to the stepsister. She makes me care for the wicked step nephew all the time. She also acts like she has the right to boss me around and act like she’s my parent or something. Now for the step nephew. He’s a hair pulling, tantrum throwing, dog food eating baby. Although, he never manages to eat the dog food because we stop him in time, but the point is he tries to eat it, that’s bad enough.
I actually get along with my parents, and I’m the one that ends up making THEM spend time with ME. That’s right, I actually WANT to spend time with my parents. That’s almost unheard of! Twisting the brain! It’s ridiculous I know!
My Amy Brown Fairy Collection. It’s still small, but I will get more. I have The Art of Amy Brown art book. I have a relatively small statue of the fairy in Amy Browns painting Eclipse. I even collect the Amy Brown 12-month Calendars. Although I like to get other Fairy art and such by artists other than Amy Brown, I will always treasure my Amy Brown fairies the most.
My musical tastes are very diverse. I don’t like to limit myself to just rock, or just rap, or just country. I love all music from Classical and Rock to Jazz and Ambient. But if I had to pick one band or musician to be my favorite, I’d have to pick Red Hot Chili Peppers simply because they rock. Although that favorite could change anytime between now and 10 years from now. You never know. Although they’ve definitely been a constant favorite since I was a little kid.
So there you go. Like it or not that is what makes me unique. That, and the fact that I try to fit humor into my work whenever possible. If you don’t like it, too bad. Now excuse me while I rock out to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Search for Amy Brown Collectibles online, make my dad go to a movie, and teach the wicked step-nephew to walk.
