| 1/22/2001 BHAI AND BHABI'S VISIT TO HOUSTON After a long time, Malik's Bhai and Bhabi are coming to visit Houston. This gave us the opportunity to take a family picture. 1/6/2001 TRIP TO CHICAGO Malik lost the argument and I win. I got my trip to Chicago. I know I'm crazy to drag the poor guy in the middle of a blizzard, but hey...there's no time like the present time. We were there for a week and this was the first time my friends met my new husband in person. 12/25/00 THE MERCHANT FAMILY REUNION After a long time, 3/4 of the family came together to meet in Houston. This called a celebration because who knew when we'd all meet again! This was a 3 in 1 celebration because not only was it a reunion, but a birthday and a welcome for the new bride and groom. 12/1/00 CHRISTMAS PARTY Malik's work had a Chirstmas party in downtown and we both dressed up for the occasion and took some pictures of course. It was a memorable evening. 10/14/00 WE WENT TO AUSTIN It's been a while since Malik and I have been anywhere, so we decided to take a little road trip. Austin is about two hours away from Houston and it's gorgeous. Check out some of the pictures we took. 10/1/00 MALIK'S PARENTS ARE GETTING A NEW HOUSE BUILT The house is almost complete. It's about 2 minutes away from where Malik and I live. But it's twice as big and spacious! 8/10/00 WE TIED THE KNOT Our Wedding took place on July 22, 2000.
