My friend Cathy Pooley, childhood friend still active in her church in Cupertino, asked me to draw, for money, a carousel horse for a fundraiser.  I struggled with the thing, researching the not to friendly internet in 1992 for images, and came up with the one above, as the one of fifteen I sent on to her for the small fee, to pick from.  She used most.

I found you could make a cut out carousel mobius strip from it, use the images altogether as gift wrap design, also individually or groups of three, as greeting cards, postcards, business cards, and soon found friends I had sent such gimmicks to, ordered more, framed and hung on walls, and for a time even incorporated the motif into some of my watercolors since sold.
