This drawing on a bar placemat at Fiddler's Green, Irish Pub in San Francisco, caught the eye of bartender, manager and minority parnter Myles O'Reilly, and was posted on the walls, used as a poster for the pub, lead to a long series of posters for music and event specials, often sent in by Fax for Fiddler's Green, from 1992 to 1994.
Myles has since opened O'Reilly's Irish Pub at 655 Green Street, San Francisco, where I was last his guest for the 2004 Oreilly's Beer and Oyster Festival at Washington Square, held each first weekend of April. Myles also has an operation near by on Polk Street, named the Holy Grail.
Myles circulated a number of my drawings with friends in San Francisco, including some of the carousel horse series at SF Light Opera, and has quite a collection of my drawings, and posters. http://www.oreillysirish.com where you can get links to all of the above concerning O'Reilly's and the Holy Grail.
