| What God is doing in the members of Home Friendship Group #6 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking , be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31-32 |

| A conversation recently heard at our small group meeting: Member: "I am close with the people at my work but I don't really feel close to a lot of the people in the church. I would like to get to know them better....like her, I thought differently about her before I got to know her here in our small group. Even in the choir I am good friends with the other choir members but there are others I don't even know." Small group leader: "It has to do with involvement....as you get more involved you get to really know people not just see them across the aisle at Church. When you think about it you spend 40 hrs a week with your co-workers." Member: "That is true, even when I helped out for Vacation Bible School I got to know a couple of other church members better" Small group leader: "Being a part of a small group is where you gain identity and have the opportunity to share and support one other." |
