  • Orientation about ANXA (about the company, it's products, rules and regulations etc.)
  • Learned about the Yahoo tools, their importance and use in the company.
  • Make the first DO and DOR.
    REMINDERS :
    1. DO and DOR's are essential tools of communication in the office. It is the report of our daily and weekly priorities. IT IS A MUST TO CREATE BOTH REPORTS.
    2. DO's must be submitted before 9am in the morning.
    3. DOR's must be submitted after work.
    4. DO's and DOR's are to be submitted to supervisors via e-mail.
    5. Never attach DO's and DOR's. Copy and paste both reports from the document to the text area field in the compose window.
    6. Subject should be of this format, [DO/DOR date]
    7. For the DOR. Make sure the status reports are aligned to the assigned priorities.

  • Met with Sir Fabrice. A brief interview.
  • Availed and read copies about with regards to information about ANXA (about the company, it's products, rules and regulations etc.)
  • Assigned to make a training site. The training site will serve another means of communication among ANXA employees.

  • Started on daily research of news related to Yahoo, MSN and AOL. News are of financial, marketing, product value or any information that could help ANXA's services.
  • Had training for the basic HTML knowledge to be applied in making the training site.
  • Introduced to other ANXA employees by Ms. Nadette.
    NOTES ON THE TRAINING SITE :
    1. Take note that every HTML page starts with an <HTML> and ends with a </HTML>. The same thing goes with other tags.
    2. Unnecessary tags (such as meta tags)  could be removed since they will not change anything in the page.
    3. In making web pages, do NOT use Frontage. If Frontpage, it has to be clean like the Yahoo web pages.
    4. On your training site, if some links are not working, place a dead link of link to your e-mail.
    5. URL format should be : www.geocities.com/mercedesanxa/training/index.html
    6. The training site is not for confidential files.

  • Training on the Quality Control Report. This report is used to point out any technical support problems, or when a new product is to be launched, or when there's already a product but is needed to adopt it to a new partner.
  • There are three parts in a Quality Control Report.
    (1) Content : consists of the following (FAQ, Technical support e-mail templates, Test runaways, Test questions, Result page, Personalized report, Email Confirmation and Statistics.)
    (2) Test Images
    (3) Test Payment
    REMINDERS:
    1. As a general rule, all web pages related to the Quality Control Report must be free from any typographical, image or hyperlink errors. A MUST!
    2. In the FAQ part, the price must always be equal or at least be a bit higher than what is indicated in the survey.

  • Had training with Rose and Xtine regarding earning through search engines. Emphasis on Google and Overture.
    NOTES :
    1. Google is no. 1 search engine in the world.
    2. There are two ways of earning through search engines.
      (1) Free positioning.
      (2) Paid search listings.
