SALES REPORT DOCUMENTATION

(March 9, 2004)

A Sales Report is made to keep track of income and expenses generated from product sales. The data needed to fill in the template for the Sales Report is seen in the statistics console.

A Sales Report has three parts:

  1. Week
  2. Date
  3. Report

There are three sources of Income:

  1. Search Engines
  2. Traffic Deals
  3. Others

Things to remember regarding the data to be placed in the Sales Report.

  • For the Sales column, data can be found from the Statistics console. Hover on each sales sources option (found at the bottommost box) to view the number of sales for each individual tracking number and sale source.
  • For the Gross Income, multiply Total Revenue (found at the Statistics console) with total amount of Sales and individual sales amount.
  • For the Charges amount, multiply gross income with 6% (for US and UK Market).
  • For the Cost column, data would come from specific websites (depending on the the tracking management) such as Google ADwords, Overture, Espotting etc.
  • For the Visitors, Home and Pay columns, data would come from the XITI webpage (http://www.xiti.com). For more information on this refer to the XITI documentation.
  • For the Click column, the data could be found at specific websites (depending on the the tracking management) such as Google ADwords, Overture, Espotting etc.
  • For the Quality Audience Column (QA), the formula is Pay/Home. It is important to know this in order to get the percentage of those who reach the payment page out of the home visitors.
  • For the Conv column, the formula is Sales/Pay.
  • For the Cost/Sale column, the formula is No. of clicks/No. of sale * the amount you have to pay.
