There is a common Selection Board, constituted by the Government of Assam for selection of students for admission to the 1^st year P.G. Course in the above three Govt. Medical Colleges in the State for 75% of the total seats.

25% of the total seats in the three colleges are filled through All India Entrance Test to be conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi.

75%, seats are reserved for medical graduates of Assam. 25% seats are filled through All India P.G. Medical Entrance Exam (by AIIMS).

Domicile bar. Must be a citizen of India and residing in Assam for a period of 20 year.

Procedure for Admission. Admission is made strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and interview.

How to apply. Application form and Rules for admission can be had for Rs.5/- and Rs.10/- respectively from the Principals of the Medical Colleges in the State by sending Crossed Postal Order or Treasury Challan or by cash payment in the month of May/June of the year of admission.
