| STAR I'm a short haired black female cat, have green eyes, and weigh 11 pounds. I was adopted from the SPCA in Sept. of '99 when I was about 2 years old. I had been abandoned when I was pregnant, and I had my kittens at the shelter in April of '99. One of the kittens was sick and went to Rainbow Bridge, but the other 4 were healthy and later were adopted to homes. After having my kittens I was spayed. I was the first one to greet Mommy when she and my soon-to-be Daddy came to the shelter on that autumn day. After I jumped in her lap, Mommy couldn't resist. After filling out some papers, they got to take to me home. I had to go the vet's for an exam as part of the adoption process, and I was found to be healthy. I'm enjoying my forever home furry much. I like to play with my brother Quentin sometimes, but he usually gets carried away and I need to keep him line with a couple pawpunches. He's OK, but can be a pain in the tail. QUENTIN I'm a black and white cat, am about 3 1/2 years old, & weigh 11 pounds. I'm shorthaired, but am a bit fluffier than Star. I was abandoned near an apartment and was taken to the SPCA, where Mommy & Daddy adopted me the same day they adopted Star. I was neutered, so I'd be in better health & make a nicer pet. In July of '99 I was "Pet of the Week", and was featured on local TV as a great cat who was looking for a good home. Every week the local stations advertise cats or doggies up for adoption, and I made the news that way. Mommy didn't see me on TV, but found out later that I was so honored. I have a wonderful time in my forever home, and I like to play with Star unless she's having one of her attitudes. |
