NORTON

My name is Norton (but my friends call me Nortee). I am a tiny mixed breed cat with no tail and the markings of a tabby-point Siamese.  My bridge brother is Ralph.

My Mom and Dad found me wandering the streets of New York about 12 years ago. I was starving and scared and crying my head off. I was so small (4 pounds) that I looked like a kitten. Mom and Dad adopted me and gave me a forever home. I am so happy now that I hardly ever meow--maybe every 3 months or so, and only if I really have something important to say!!

We're not sure of my age. I have to be at least 14, but I still look and act like a kitten! I only weigh about 5 pounds now, although for many years I got up to about 7-8 pounds. No one knows how I lost my tail. I do fine without it, but when I run I kind of hop like a bunny!

Ralph, Mom and Dad, and I moved down to Florida a couple of years later. In the last 2 years or so, I've been commuting between Florida and my other home in MeowChatVillage. I share my MCV home with my sweet, beautiful, precious wife, Minette of WisCATsin. Our lives became complete this year when we adopted a kitten, Poucette Noelle.  We love living near so many loving friends in MeowChatVillage.

I run Harbor House Bed & Breakfast in MCV, centrally located right on the banks of the beautiful Catnip River. We also run the MCV branch of AARP (American Association of Retired Pussycats). My jobs, my family, and my friends keep my life full and happy.

About a year ago my kidneys failed, and I almost went to the Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad agreed to give me sub-q IV treatments, and saved my life. I HATE the treatments. But I feel great now and my kidney function is normal!

Life is precious and I feel that I am a very lucky guy.

RALPHIE

My name was Ralph (but my friends call me Ralphie). I have gone to the bridge now, but I was a big tuxedo cat, and Norton's brother (yes, Daddy is a Honeymooners' fan--for those of you who are old enough to remember!). My Mom and Dad found me stuck in a cage in a shelter in New York. Actually, I found them. When Mama walked past my cage, I stuck my paw out and grabbed her jacket, and didn't let go until they agreed to adopt me.

I was an adult cat, and that was about 13 years ago...so we're not sure of my age, but it's fair to say that I lived to be pretty OLD.

We moved down to Florida a couple of years later. In the last 2 years or so of my life, I commuted between Florida and my other home in MeowChatVillage. I shared my MCV home with the most wonderful cat in the world, Miss Munchkin Catnip. On the happiest day of my life, she became Mrs Munchkin Catnip CCarlini. Very soon after that (and I mean VERY soon LOL), we adopted our 2 loving sons, Pepper and Harley. And now, thanks to Pepper, we had a daughter-in-paw, Mrs Tortie, and 2 grandkids, Sweet Pickles and Pumpkin Pie.  I had many good friends in MCV and we was so happy there. Life was good!

Norton and I ran Harbor House Bed & Breakfast in MCV, centrally located right on the banks of the beautiful Catnip River. We also ran the MCV branch of AARP (American Association of Retired Pussycats). I would like tohave retired but for some reason my wallet always seemed to be empty :-)

I had a very full and happy life.
