A Headache
Eyes bloodshot, little red veins popping everywhere.
Painful to blink, painful to sleep.
Too bored to care, too bored to do anything.
No other choice than but to stare.
     Glands watering beyond control.
     Overflowing, down below.
Everyone looking at you, thinking you cry.
Wiping the tears away, hurting in the process.
     Eyes burning worst than before.
Finally giving in to your quivering eyelids.
Gasping at the surprise of the sudden pain.
That's what you get for daydreaming in class.
Staring off in space with nothing better to do.
'     Open your eyes, look into a mirror, see the red rash.
Look close at the complex blood streams.
Flowing on and on, forever more
     Throbbing; beat, beat, beat.
It's the beginning rhythm of a migraine.
