What methods Should I Use to Support My Ideas?
What if you could say that somebody well known and respected said something first, would people be more likely to listen to what you say about math, or what good old Albert Einstein said.
In a speech you will be passing around a lot of information. What if you have nothing to back up your words? Will the audience believe you?
Why should you listen to what I have to say about speeches? Who am I to tell you what is good and what is bad. Well I'll tell you that I wouldn't listen to myself if I read some of my english papers. But I'm giving a lot of references to other web sites of major universities. Universities full of smart people that get paid to tell you how to speak.
Anyhow, the best way to support your ideas is to cite other people, smart and well known ones preferred.
And the best way to present this info is through visual aids. Graphs, pictures, role plays, and examples that people can relate to also help a bunch.
