Four Heavenly Kings

Also known as
Dharma Protectors by Mahayana Buddhist & as Deva Kings in Sanskrit by the Hindus. These four celestial beings are fabled to be the guardians of the slopes on Mount Meru, a Buddhist Paradise. From there, they supposedly protect the Universe against attacks by the evil forces & spirits of the four directions.
The four heavenly kings are usually depicted as heavily armed, each holding personalized weapons which had supernatural powers. They are always shown alert & ready to ward off negatives influences. With them in your home, it is belived that righteouness, honesty & goodmoral characters will prevail. They defend with tireless energy & power is said to be invincible.
Mo-Li-Hai (Guardian of the West)
He has a blue face & carries a four string mandolin which, when strummed cause a great balls of fire to drop onto those who would dare to invade the space.
Mo-Li-Ching (Guardian of the East)
He has a white face, with beard & a fierce expression. He carries a spear & a magic sword that has the characters earth, water, fire & wind on its blade. The sword is believed for having the power to create a black wind produces a million spears that pierce through the bodies of evil nagas turning them into dust.

Mo-Li-Hung (Guardian of the South)
He has a red face & holds the magic umbrella. When the umbrella opened, it creates total darkness & when reversed, it creates huge earthquakes & tidal waves that completely destroys all negatives & killing forces.
Mo-Li-Shou (Guardian of the North)
He has a black face & carries a pearl in one hand & a snake in the other hand. At other times, he is shown with an elephant or a white rat.
