World Year of Physics 2005 Constantine, Algeria

I- Program at the Badji Mokhtar University, Annaba

Lectures on: Physics and Astrophysics for Pedestrians , were given on May 23 at Annaba University for the University community in coordination with the Physics Department of Annaba University.

Dr.Seghouani from the CRAAG talked on the coming "October 3 2005 Annular Eclipse in Algeria", while Dr J.Mimouni from our University talked on the "Huygens landing on Titan, views and sounds" and "Einsteinien Physics in Retrospective". The whole show was masterly run by the Physics Depart. with the participation of the Physics Student Club. We would like to thank in particular the head of the Physics Depart. Dr.Belkheir Hafid, for his full support.

In addition, an Astronomy evening was organized under the supervision of the Sirius Astronomy Association from Constantine which was present with two of its members, namely Mourad Hamdouche and Samir Meskaldji.

Covering of the events

Lectures took place at a large auditorium	Dr.Seghouani lecturing
Many faculty members participated at the program.	An exposition was held previously at the Physics Department . in order to celebrate World Physics Year
The evening astronomy organized with the help of the Sirius Astronomy Association from Constantine.

But all the real action was outside!	With a large crowd of students, faculty members and their families...
