Walking slowly
through the gleaming
red fire and steam
mind running wild
body unscathed
scarred but unburnt
wailing lost souls
screams of the damned
bodies engendering worms
faces melting
sinners howling
in pitiful regret
Still walking
not stopping
for the slightest bit
one of the lucky
unharmed
soul sold
since maturity
