How much does waxing hurt?
As a general guide, the feeling is like being slapped with a plastic ruler, and fades quickly. Follow up treatments are gentler than the first, as the hair hasn't had time to fully develop.
Why do guys get waxed?
Guys usually get waxed to satisfy their sense of self-image, or because their partners prefer the smooth look. Waxing is also very cultural, attaching itself to certain professions, and not the ones you'd expect.
It's interesting to note that our waxing clients are people in the public eye - teachers, policemen, doctors, lawyers, demographic groups that we honestly didn't anticipate. The latest trend appears to be people who work in IT, and again the reasons are a mystery.
Should I trim before I get a Brazilian treatment done?
No - If your pubic hair is long, we may trim it first. It is best not to attempt it yourself before the treatment, or you may cut the hair too short.
What is a Brazilian Wax?
Basically it all comes down to the removal of hair from the genital region, and it is a service now equally as popular with men and women, young and old, straight and gay, professional and blue-collar.
In the case of men, a Brazilian includes waxing of all or some of the following areas, depending on what you want: bikini line, the penis shaft, scrotum, perineum (behind scrotum), and the pubic crest (tuft of hair above the penis).
During a Brazilian Wax, men need to be nude.
If I get a Brazilian Wax, will it increase sensitivity during sex?
Yes, dramatically. The difference is amazing.

I'm worried that i'll get an erection during my Brazilian treatment
Don't stress. An erection is a natural reaction when someone touches your genitalia, be it a doctor, a nurse, or a waxing therapist, and it has nothing to do with your sexual preference. In all truth, an erection actually makes the waxing process easier as the skin stays tight, and gives a smoother result.
Will I have to get on all four to have a Brazilian?
We do our best to preserve your modesty throughout.
Can you do a waxing outcall to my home?
Unfortunately no, it would make the treatment too expensive. Wax pots take around 40 minutes to heat up, and we would have to charge for that time. If we preheat the pots, then we risk spillage during transportation, which again is a costly (and messy) affair.
Can i book a wax treatment and have a massage straight after it?
Yes.
Can i book a spray tan for after my wax treatment?
No. To alleviate the risk of inflammation, you should leave at least two days between waxing and tanning.
Can i go to a solarium after my wax treatment?
Definitely not. You should avoid heat following a wax treatment and solariums take heat to the extreme. Also, the chemicals in solarium tanning lotions will inflame the skin after waxing. Leave 2 to 3 days between waxing and solarium tanning.
