What is an SIG A SIG, or Special Interest Group, is a forum where a group of Mensans can discuss or pursue activities related to a particular field of human (or Mensan) interest. SIGs can be formed on a variety of topics. At present, there are an estimated ... Mensa SIGs around the world, some of which belong to one Mensa chapter only while others are global. Since Mensa members are scattered globally, every SIG has its own e-group, i.e. an e-SIG. Many SIGs exist only as e-groups while others have physical activities too.
