Mysteriously housed at Garden Web, this HRT friendly Menopause Forum suggests a voluntary financial contribution but doesn't impose it. Note that it is not *necessary* to be a "member" - you may post as a "guest".
Another web based menopause forum which is user friendly and not particularly frustrating can be found at

Power Surge
http://members.aol.com/dearest/index.htm
There are no panaceas for menopausal complaints. There are those who would have us believe that any woman can restore the quality of life to which she was accustomed prior to menopause simply by taking HRT. I've heard countless stories from women on HRT, who not only complain of having many, if not all, of the same problems they had prior to HRT, but develop a whole host of new ones. We must face the reality that there are risks in taking hormones. There are risks in not taking hormones. There are risks in living. For those comfortable with and benefitting from synthetic HRT, more power to them, but women must be made aware of their options. Those who won't or can't take synthetic hormones, but prefer the natural route, more power to them, too. It is not Power Surge's position to recommend one method of treatment over another. The purpose is to disseminate information and encourage discourse in order to enable every woman to educate herself to make a choice as to the best method of treatment for herself."

Premature menopause
http://www.pofsupport.org
For most women, the diagnosis of Premature Ovarian Failure is a devastating one.  At a
time when we should be feeling our healthiest, we must cope with a chronic disorder and
infertility.  Often, before we've even had the chance to make a decision about having
children, the opportunity is denied.  The goals of this group are to offer support and information to women who have been diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure.

PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome
PCOSupport, The PolyCystic Ovarian Support Association, is proud to announce its latest Internet Support group, the  PCOS-Menopause Email List.

This list is designed to provide support for menopausal and  perimenopausal women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, also known as  Stein-Levanthal and Polycystic Ovary Disease. It will be set up as a  forum for women to share, provide support and discuss how PCOS and  menopause affects their everyday lives.

Lynda Weigang, who is herself dealing with PCOS and Menopause  has agreed to help moderate the list. Lynda is a member of the  PCOSA's fledgling Houston Chapter.

Research into the area of PCOS and Menopause is virtually  nonexistent. "It is our hope that by sponsoring this new list we will  be able to help uncover the primary physical and emotional issues  facing this largely neglected segment of the PCOS population" stated  PCOSA Executive Director, Kristin Rencher. "Once we band together and  begin to gain a deeper understanding how PCOS effects women during  menopause, we can then use our collective knowledge to help further  research in the field."

Weigang added, "I'm hoping we [the list members] can explore  and learn together about this little known area of PCOS."
