What was The Harrows Academy? The Harrows Academy for Performing Arts was a prestigious arts college for messy trouble to experiment with sound, light and grubby functions. Who studied and taught there? Many famous instructors have haunted the hallowed halls of Harrows. Sindy Shoop, sister of Bindy Woop (Benny Woo) taught the 'mime and solitude' elective to third year Harrows students between 1976 and 84. Well known students include Larn Puttings and various members of Men Have Mumps. Why did it close down? Harrows was chronically under-funded. Upon returning to visit West Hallows college in late december 2002, The Winsford Tindle was heard to remark, "This is a pissing time!" Who started Harrows? Harrows was started by Lord Harrows, an stern but large hearted creature of dubious origin. Bred of an airy word, Harrows was something of a pissing time himself. His style was mowl, but later he developed "A Fowl Bowl of Chib" (used by Men Have Mumps). Below is a picture of Lord Harrows taken at Murrel Bay. We all miss him greatly.
