How Mendez Met His Wife...

Mendez had decided already at the age of 16: he wanted to be a father.

Mendez met his wife Ninoska, who also is from a chilenian family, when he was 16. Then he had been watching her for a while. One late night at Rågsved undergroundstation he took a chance. He went stright to her and said: 'You look ******** good. Can I have your phonenumber?' But she answered:'Are you stupid? I don't even know you.' But later she said that if he managed to find her number, he could call her. It was kind of a test. She probably thought that Mendez couldn't manage it, but he had already decided. It didn't take him much time to find her number and called her. But Still she wouldn't listen to him. All the times he tried to talk to her, she didn't want to talk to him. Mendez didn't want to give up. At last he dicided that he would try just once more. And this time he had a plan. He borrowed a flat and asked her to come to a party. At least that's what he told her. She was at first surprised and then angry because he just lied to her. Mendez calmed her down by saying that the others jut were out for a vorspiel and probably would be late. And she stayed. 1:00 it was still only them there. Then she said: 'I know what you're doing.'

But Ninoska doesn't regret that they married. When Mendez was 20, they got their first kid: Their daughter Stephanie.
