Hello there and welcome to the home of M.A.T.E.S, my very own online comic.

My name is Alistair and this all started in 2004 (I'm not quite sure when though) after I was reading a comic my friend draws for fun (you can get to a text version of his comic, TownEnders, from the links page) and I just thought that I'd give it a go as well!

23rd August 2006:
Yet another unexpected update! See, I don't completely forget about this site. I have added a new link to the links page that leades to my deviantART account. This also means that newer episodes of M.A.T.E.S that I don't have room for here can be seen. If you choose to look at the newer episodes then you should disregard the last episode on this site as it was for THIS SITE ONLY.

17th November 2005:
A brief and unexpected update. For some unexplained reason Geocities seems to have deleted the site belonging to my friends at Spencerwoodland and because of this I am taking their link down. I just thought I'd let you know why the link will be missing.

3rd September 2005:
I'm sad to say that today I announce the last episode has been added :( This is unfortunately because I can't pay for extra space and because I'm off to university in just over two weeks. The good news is that this last page has never been seen by anyone, not even my friends! I did this one especially for this website. I hope you will enjoy it. :) I will probably update the news if anything of interest happens, but for now, goodbye.
