I was the Winner of the Rohm and Haas Fine Art of Achievement Award.
I have been drawing comic characters since I was in middle school. I had stopped drawing and reading comics just before College in order to study Painting. I had several shows of my work during and after college which were met with warm reviews and astonishment from my college professors.
Starting last May, I began to draw Comics again with the Nightwing Pages.
Slowly, Comic books began to filter back into my life to the point now, where I am constantly working on improving my Comic book style, speed, and storytelling abilities. I have reached the point where I realized that I want to draw Comics for a living and leave my painting for myself alone.
At this moment, I have teamed up with a friend to create some original comic ideas. We currently have developed one idea for a book and have begun work on the first issue. We are also in the process of developing 6 other new and unique books. With any luck, we will be in the Comic business shortly.
I am also Working on a Graphic Novel with Scott Barr, which is titled Aegis and should be out next year.
