HISTORY: Mathilda is actually a native of Earth, having been hatched here by her father, Marvin, a Squat Martian, who was hoping to colonize the planet. Unfortunately for Marvin, his plans were halted by a clever Earther back in the 1950s.
As Marvin was making his escape, he was forced to leave his daughter, Mathilda, behind. She was later confiscated and quaranteened by the Men In Black.
Within months of her quarinteen, it became apparent to MIB that she didn't pose a threat to Earth, and she was released to surrogate alien parents who looked after her.
During that time, Mathilda grew to be an expert in numerous technical fields while retaining a child-like innocence about her. She helped reverse engineer dozens of alien artifacts and was even responsible for developing the first working orbital laser cannon used in defense of the planet.
As her technical skills grew, Mathilda's emotional development grinded to a halt. Frozen in a developmental state where she still likes dollies, flowers, children's games and kittens, it was all the MIB could to convince her that if their guns and vehicles can't be created with a utilitarian black metal, then "cutesy, shiny silver" would be the next best color.
Mathilda's emotional state has required some adjustment for MIB's top brass. It's not uncommon for Z to play "duck-duck goose" before she tells him about her latest death-ray weapon.
EQUIPMENT & WEAPONS: Mathilda has access to almost every device in the MIB arsenal, as well as the equipment to build new weapons and devices.
