If I could put to words the heartbreak and devistation one day could bring to every resident of not one town, but two, you would be shocked. But when three kids can touch the lives of so many people, two towns are left crying, morning, waiting for to sun to shine again.
On Tuesday, Febuary 27th, 2007, at 7:30 A.M., three kids were going to school, carpooling with their friends, Brooke and Brandt. But, after going around a sharp turn near the Black Canyon Dam river, something happened. And that something would end up shaping the future for so many people.
The car plumbeted into the icy cold waters of the morning.
The five children traped inside, ranging in ages from 12-15, didn't know what to do. They put themselves into the lord's hands, and somehow, knew they were going to get out of this.
Some nearby cars spoted the accident, and called 911. But, it took dive teams more than 2 hours to get into the water.
Brooke and Brandt were already in the hands of the lord when they got out of the car, but the three walker children, Meagan, Tyler, and Kyle, were still alive. They wre rushed to the hospital. But, dispite trememdous efforts by the staff, the last child crossed the streets of heaven at about 2:30.
The news left people shaken. Meagan, Tyler, and Kyle had lived in Eagle, Idaho, and were currentally living in Emmet. But everywhere they went, they made differences in the way people looked at themselves and the world. A world without them was like no world at all.
Meagan, Tyler, and Kyle left such a lasting impression on everyone, even if you didn't know them that well. Their love touched everybody they met, and they are all greatly missed by their family, friend, and classmates.
Tragedy is something that will happen to everybody, and I think Meagan, Tyler, and Kyle became Angels so that they can continue to watch over us, and protect us from up in the sky. |
