Kevin Conner was originally from West Union, Iowa where he grew up as a neighbor to Doug.

Kevin began playing guitar and writing songs at a very early age. His influences were primarily the folk artists of the 60s & 70s and the Beatles.

After graduating from Luther College, Kevin teamed with Doug in 1978 and toured full-time in the Memory Brothers until 1990.

As a team Doug and Kevin were the most prolific of the Memory Brothers in the studio. Together they released six albums from 1979 to 1990 including; Yellow River Serenade, Time and Distance; Memory Brothers and Good Friends, By Request, Tightrope! and Waiting for Your Love.

Kevin is an accomplished songwriter having penned some of the best-known tunes by the Memory Brothers such as:
Train Track Penny; Yellow River Serenade; Mornings In New York; California Bound; Living In Colorado; You Are My Life; What Have You Got To Lose; I Don't Need Your Love Any More and South Of The Border.
