Some history of "Doug & Larry" and the Memory Brothers

They were still in the Rubber Band but began moonlighting in small clubs as a duo doing harmony vocals accompanied by just piano and acoustic guitar.
They first billed themselves
"Doug & Larry" before
adopting the name
"the Memory Brothers."
(right) Doug & Larry in 1999. They continue to perform on a regular basis as the "original" Memory Brothers.
(left) This is the 1969 Doug & Larry logo designed by Mike Matter (son of ballroom owner, Leonard Matter). This logo is still used today.
