| Rusty was a beautiful orange and white cat who came to live with us in 1990. He was the most loving and gentle cat I have ever known. He brought so much happiness into my life. On April 30, 2000 his life came to an abrupt end when a neighbor decided to shoot and kill him. It was the saddest moment I have ever experienced in my life. Several years have gone by but I still think of Rusty almost everyday. I can't count the times that I have thought I heard his meow or saw his sweet face looking in the kitchen window. I love you Rusty and I want to thank you for loving me almost as much as I loved you. I am so thankful that I was able to have you for ten wonderful years and I am so sorry that I wasn't there to protect you on that horrible day. It hurts so bad, but it means so much to me just knowing that you used what little strength you had left to get back home. You left behind so many wonderful memories. You will always be in my heart. We all miss you so much and we will never forget you. |
