SOME OF MY FAVORITE
MEMORIES AGO....
**June 19, 1946 at 3:45 p.m. Rose Marie and Bobby Guy's Wedding Day.
** The day Dr. Edelstein said "My dear child, you are two and a half months pregnant!" (With her daughter)
** (Something Ethel Merman told me) "I always think of Ethel Merman when it comes to nerves. She once told me, "I never get nervous. I know what I'm going to do. The audience should be nervous, they don't know what they are going to get!" and
I've never forgotten that."
** At Betty White and Allen Ludden's house once..I'll always remember a dance with Fred Astaire. I followed him so easily and when we were finished, they (the other guests) applauded and Fred Astaire kissed me on the cheek and said, "You're okay honey. Thanks for the dance!" No Fred, thank YOU for
one of the nicest memories of my life."
**October 3, 2001 - "Rose Marie Day in Hollywood - and getting my star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame."
