Aufruf:   An aliyah given to a bride and groom in honor of their wedding

Bedeken:  The groom covers  the bride's face with her veil.  Reminds us of the story of Rachel, Leah, and Jacob

Chuppah: The wedding canopy

Ketubah: Marriage contract.

Kiddushin: Betrothal Ceremony -The first part of the traditional wedding ceremony.

Mikvah: Ritual bath.  Traditionally, the bride immerses herself before the wedding.

Nissuin: Second part  of the wedding ceremony

Ring: Must be a solid metal band owned by the groom, with no holes or stones. 

Seudat Mitzvah: Festive meal celebrating the completion of the mitzvah of  getting married.

Shadchan:  Matchmaker

Shidduch:  Match between a bride and groom

Shevah Brachot: The seven special blessings at a wedding.

Tennaim: Conditions traditionally agreed to by the parents of the bride and the groom.
