Escillius is both pious and nefarious. He is intelligent, and tries his best to pass his wisdom on to youngsters. He has a very short temper, and little patience, so often has trouble 'teaching' his apprentices. Being picky and grouchy, Escillius has very few real 'friends', other than his favored Kappas. He, like Cestha, is quite the solitary creature, and very rarely feels the need to communicate with others.
