GenIII LS1 V8.
Flash ROM type for VTII - VYII = 28F400.
GenIII LS1 V8.
Flash ROM type for Pontiac GTO (Export Monaro) = 28F800.
Upcoming VZ V6: No technical details on these yet, these ECM's are quite common on European GM cars (which is what this one is off)
:MEMCALS:
STANDARD MEMCAL:
The BCC (Broadcast Code) on this Memcal is 'AMDD8389'
The Knock Filter board is mounted next to the ROM. Underneath the knock filter is the back-up mode resistor arrays.
AFTERMARKET MEMCAL:
You can see the ROM has been replaced with a custom PCB, these usually have a PLD and a FlashROM and generally cannot be read out or reprogrammed using an EPROM programmer.
WIERD MEMCAL:
This style of Memcal is usually found in Isuzu or European Delco computers, GMH never used them in the Commodore
