Those of you that know me will know I sure love animals - well I've near devoted my working life to them. Well this has spun off into my love of drawing too. I used to draw pictures of animals for the kids when they were young. At first I drew real animals (dogs, cats, beaver, bears) but as I got into it I started designing my own family of critters. It was on a trip to merry olde England when Jimmy and Billie said to me "Hey pop! We just saw your critters on the TV. They're called The Wombles." Since then I made it my business to find out as much as I could about this English family of furry beasts. And although I wouldn't say that all my critters are wombles they are certainly what I'd call womblesque. Here they are. Enjoy! |
