It seems such a short time ago,
that we stood together
at our brother John's wedding.

Of course there have been happy times
and sad times throughout the years.
And the love was always there.
If only
we had not lost you in such an untimely manner.
Then perhaps
it would be easier to cope with losing you.
We can't get any satisfactory answers.
Your operation went so well.
Perhaps we should have made the hospital take more notice of that headache?
Would it have helped?
Why wasn't the oxygen getting to your brain?
The hospital seems as baffled as we are.
So we may never know.
